Depiction illustrates architectural renderings through visual storytelling, and brings life, vibrancy, and an artful eye to a variety of projects. We use modern and traditional methods, as well as care and expert craftsmanship, while we visualize and create design concepts for architects, designers, and developers.

The artists at Depiction have been creating renderings since the late 90's. Work experience from a traditional rendering studio and urban design master planning office, has provided an exceptional base of knowledge in the craft of rendering and the invention of architecture.

Depiction is located in the historic Ice House in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000 as the Consolidated Ice Company Factory No. 2 and was built in 1907. The original factory was closed in 1951.

In 2000, Becky Burdick and Linda Metropulos turned the ice-making factory into work space for artists. Today the building contains businesses offering photography, video, framing, clothing design, architectural design, tattoo, carpentry, guitar construction, kun fu, frisbee and several technology companies. The Ice House is really a fantastic building with tons of character. It's a mix of modern and gritty architecture.

We here at Depiction love the character and vibe the Ice House offers. When you have a chance, come down for a visit. We'll buy you lunch. If you are interested in a little more info about the Ice House, please see the following pdf.
